Syneren is currently seeking a detail oriented, self-starting, articulate part time (30hrs per week) Administrative Specialist/ Program Analyst that works well with others. The ideal candidate must be able to solve business, policy/compliance or other discipline system/process problems and enables system to meet the needs of the organization.

Performs system studies to assist organization to realize maximum benefit from investments in equipment, personnel, and business processes or to comply with internal or external requirements.

Plans and designs new processes or devises ways to apply existing systems resources to additional operations. Analyzes requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing system/processes. 

Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Works under general supervision. 


Provides administrative support to the NWS Policy and Procedural Directive system. 

Also provides support to the program manager in maintaining and tracking all NWS directives to ensure they remain current. 

Delivers notification to NWS offices when directives enter a renewal period. 

Also provides technical support to NWS offices with respect to directives and the overall process

As part of the Administrative and Technical Support functions provides support to the CFO to review documentation related to personal property, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), OIG/GAO issues, Awards Program and other matters under the responsibility of the Management and Organization Division.  Uses technical expertise in providing recommendations to the above-mentioned types of documents.


Bachelor’s degree with 6 – 8 years’ experience or HS Diploma with 12 years’ experience.

Candidate shall be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. 

Shall possess a general understanding of HR policies and regulations and have strong oral and writing communication skills. 

Conduct analysis on small and large data sets, including surveys and develops reports for mid and senior level managers.
